A few weeks ago, on a chilly afternoon in November, Josh and I were reunited with our friend Haley, her husband PJ, and her sweet parents for her maternity session. Haley and I grew up together, and her family is so dear to my heart. Not only did I have the honor of taking hers and PJ’s engagement photos, but I also made the trip down to Santa Rosa Beach, Florida to photograph their wedding day, so naturally I was ecstatic to be able to help them document their next big milestone!

When Haley and PJ found out they were having a girl, I’m pretty sure I shed happy tears alongside everyone else in their families. Though we live several hours away from each other, we made sure that when they were in Tennessee visiting for Thanksgiving that we were able to do their maternity session, and I am SO glad that we did! The sweet, soft, romantic images from their session have become some of my favorites to date. Despite the cold wind, dropping temperatures, and rambunctious energy of their pups, I really feel that I was able to capture the excitement, love, and joy that is surrounding their family as they prepare to welcome their daughter any day now!

Haley and PJ, I am so thankful for the two of you and your families, and jus so grateful that you have entrusted me with so many momentous occasions in your lives. I can’t wait to meet that sweet little lady when she makes her appearance and watch the two of you become amazing parents!
